Triclops with Tentacles

This unique ceramic vase features a three-eyed figure with a small scar tracing from the top of its right eye to the middle of its nose, adding a what i think is a touch of character story. Eleven tentacle-like forms extend from the back and sides, providing both visual interest and functional balance to the detailed front, where a bold, protruding nose takes center stage. big enough to where it throws off the center of balance so having additional weight (flowy spikes in this case) around the vase helps the vase stay grounded even with a wobble.
The red, orange, and yellow underglaze, finished with a smooth clear glaze and hand painted cranberry around the inner mouth, fired to cone 10 reduction.
